TwonkyServer
TwonkyServer was one of the first DLNA-certified software applications. Designed for embedded devices, TwonkyServer focuses on performance and efficiency. TWONKY SDK
The TwonkyServer and Twonky Client SDKs make your CE device part of the connected home. Available for Android, iOS, Linux, Mac and Windows platforms, as well as others, Twonky software ensures that your device can discover other devices on the home network and share media with those devices. Media sharing capabilities include streaming, copying and synchronization. The TwonkyServer SDK features:
- Support of UPnP, DLNA, Airplay and WebDAV devices and applications
- Device adaptation to adjust to different device protocols, implementations and capabilities
- Transcoding functionality and content adaptation for online services
- HTML, RSS and application programming interfaces
- Digital media player or renderer functionality, to allow either the player or server device to control playback commands
- Scheduled recording of compatible Digital Video Recorders (DVRs)*
